APM II (Civil/Structural)

Normal Work Week:
Monday - Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday during General Orders and may also require night shifts.
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Civil or Structural Engineering. A four-year High School Diploma or educational equivalent and five years of experience.
Minimum two (2) years of full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work on a construction project with the value of $1,000,000 or more and, as a Field Inspector or Field Engineer in inspection of civil/structural systems.
Special Skills/Training Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications. Familiar with Construction Management Procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with excellent written, verbal communication and computer (MS Office Suites) skills.
Description of Work:
The responsibilities include field inspection of construction work performed by the contractor to ensure that it complies with contract documents. Monitor safety to make sure that all personnel, contractor's and subcontractor's as well as Company strictly comply with all safety requirements. Candidate will be required to perform, but not limited to, the review of shop drawings and as built drawings, inspection/coordination of contractual site work to ensure that the contract requirements are met, assist in the review of monthly partial payments, development of scope of work and estimates for additional Work orders, coordinate TA Labor Services, prepare field observation reports, daily progress reports and assist in resolving all construction field issues.
